The clerk holds marriage records from 1890, divorce records from 1890, probate records from 1891, and court records from 1890. That makes Beaver County one of the older collections in the state. Copies cost $1 per page. Certified copies are $1 per certificate. Bring a photo ID for in-person requests. Mail requests are accepted with proper details and a self-addressed stamped envelope. The Oklahoma Open Records Act under Title 51 gives anyone the right to look at court records. You do not need to be a party to the case. Sealed and expunged records are the exceptions.

Because Beaver County has a small population, the courthouse handles fewer cases than most Oklahoma counties. That means staff can usually pull records quickly. Wait times are short. For cases going back to the 1890s, some files may be in storage and take a day to retrieve.

Copy fees at the Sheriff's Office apply for any printed documents.

Beaver County Records Access

Court records in Beaver County are public under the Open Records Act. Anyone can view them. No reason is needed. Criminal files show charges, pleas, and sentencing. Civil records show filings and judgments. The Court Clerk will let you inspect files during business hours.

Some records are restricted. Juvenile cases are sealed by law. Adoption records are private. Expunged records are erased from all public systems, including OSCN and OSBI. If a judge orders a case sealed, it stays out of public view. Beaver County follows the same rules as every other county in the state on this.
